IBOTA's mission IBOTA is an acronym for International Bridge Of Technical Assistance, showing the foundation's objective clearly. IBOTA wishes to serve as bridge between the affluent western technological world and development areas. IBOTA selects, manages and funds technical projects in development areas contributing directly to the conditions of life of the deprived. Within the projects IBOTA is involved in training young people, transmitting practical skills and helping them to set up their own business. This helps them to become aware of their own potential and offers them hope for the future. IBOTA focuses as yet on India, but expects to set up similar projects in other countries in need. Choice and application of the techniques used depend on the culture and circumstances of the country in which the project has been set up. In India the projects will be focussed mainly on water purification, solar technique and electronics. Funding To finance the projects IBOTA approaches businesses, public authorities and individuals for funds. Another way of financing comes through the work and business enterprise, INNOLOGIC inc., founded by IBOTA INNOLOGIC Inc. has the objective of developing, producing and selling products to generate profit. Foundation IBOTA has as its sole shareholder full control of the distribution of profits of INNOLOGIC. Organization
Development of the products produced within the projects of IBOTA is to take place by INNOLOGIC. Production will find place in the various developing countries. Other principals can have their products produced within the IBOTA projects. These products are delivered within the European norms.
Research The quality of the purified water by the AQUA Logic filters will be tested in co-operation with different laboratories and companies for research and advice in the area of water purification such as WLO laboratory, in Enschede, the Netherlands, KIWA NV water inspection mark in Rijswijk, NORIT Activated Coal Filtration in Hengelo, X-Flow Membrane Technology in Almelo, Nautec-Reijsen Filtration Technology te Makkum etc. For research in other technical disciplines there is co-operation with different companies such as Novako Technic Machine design in Haarlem, Poly Knowledge Plastic technology in Almelo, WOT (Work group for developing technics / University Twente in Enschede and a group of voluntarily specialists. Locally there will be close co-operation with local authorities and relief organizations. |
